What’s trending? Get to grips with 2017’s autumn & winter trends

This autumn/winter reeks of spontaneous & effortlessly- looks that says that you are not sitting around wondering if you look perfect, but in fact that you have lived. And there is nothing that dresses you better this season than coloured easy and unhurried.

Here’s my beauty guide on the easiest catwalk looks to copy.

Casual & simple centre-parting can be done in several ways. From windswept and natural down – done with finger partings (Christopher Kane), to tousled texture (Alberta Ferretti), to the ‘undone braided wave’ (Narciso Rodriquez). Tip: On wet locks, apply some TRESemme24 Hour Amplifying Mousse and style the hair into 2-3 loose braids, drying it with a diffuser before letting loose.

The sleek low ponytail (Jason Wu), or only slick at the front and teased up at the back (GUCCI).

The wash-and-go hair (Balmain), full length super-sleek to only slick-down at the roots (Amanda Wakeley, Versace) or keep it simple with just some wet look shine. Tip: a very wearable way to do wet-look hair: comb back with a touch of lacquer at the top and sides.

The fresh face with minimal makeup is fashion’s biggest fascination – the kind you leave a yoga session. Luminous. Dewy. Flushed. Radiant. Glowy. Clean. Less is more, clearly. (PUCCI, Valentino, Stella Mccartney, Chloé, Alexander Wang etc). Tip: Glowy skin trick is to mix the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with the Optimal Brightening Concentrate, both by NARS. Nuances of makeup – instantly make you look healthier in an effortless way. Add subtle sheen on lips with gloss and sheer across the cheekbones and lids

Flaming lips. The lip of the season is rich, supersaturated, and soft around the edges and pressed on with a fingertip. Red lips (Carolina Herrera, Burberry) Berry-hued (Dolce&Gabanna). Tip: Apply the The Dolce & Gabbana Classic Cream Lipstick in shade Ultra or Amethyst on the outer parts of the lips and then apply the new Dolce Matte Lipstick in Dolce Desire to the cupids bow and at the centre of the lips for a technical 3D effect.

Material eyeliner is here in place of the liquid eyeliner we all are familiar with -instead attach leather strips (Fendi) or even patches of Satin (Dior) along the lids. Pastel green, pink, peach and yellow hues are the most popular. Stick on material eyeliner as you would glue on false-lashes.

And for the ones who would like to play it up a lil’ bit more, do it by precisely applying glitter to the top, bottom and inner corners of the peepers (Anna Sui). The chicest way to sparkle.
