The word is being spread that the breakout star Kevin Austin is taking the big stage at ATTITUDE STHLM. Not only did his latest hit song “Stereotype” climb to the top 3 on the iTunes Pop chart but it also competed against artists as Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. With this blast off start he is sure to rise to fame. 

Kevin Austin has followed his dreams since a very young age, despite his uphill battle growing up in a small town outside Gothenburg, SWE where singing and dancing wasn’t accepted among his male classmates, and therefore it became six years of adversity and loneliness. After numerous performances at graduations and other performances, he made his first official appearance as a 14-year-old at the famous venue ”Göteborgs Operan” and their annual Christmas musical ”Jultrad-i-ton”.
At the age of 20 to try his luck in Los Angeles. He worked on his own material and also as a demo singer for Jason Derulo among others. He participated on the soundtrack of Disney’s popular hit series ”Shake It Up – Made in Japan”.
2011, did Kevin had the great honor to perform at the world famous ”The Ellen Show” led by Ellen DeGeneres, and because of a back injury, did Kevin get to take over Ellen’s famous song and dance routine as the opening of the program. 2013 did Kevin return to Sweden to release his own material and his first single Wanna Go which was released in April 2014.

He get’s his inspiration from many sources but lyrics mostly from his own experiences, which he’s ready to share with you all! Today has Kevin, along with Jimmy Jansson and Isa Ljunggren at “Capitol Records” released his new single Stereotype which got up on nr 3 on the iTunes Pop chart competing against Shape of You and Despacito Feat. Justin Bieber (Remix)
